Okay so that was kinda a lame title but there was nothing else i could think of.
So We all made it to Paris and back to Yelba and we helped some people get to their hostels and then we booted it over to St Chappelle which was awesome awesome, some of the best stained glass in Paris or even Europe i would argue. And then we went to try to go up the Notre Dame but there was a massive line and really....418 stairs..i think i can miss that one.
So then we made it on over to St Denis(Yes it was the Cathedral day okay) Now this Basilica if you want to be technical is the resting place for all the Kings and Queens of Scotland right back to the 7th century so i was in a little bit of a medieval hissy fit.
I had no idea they were buried there I was just going because i wrote an essay on the construction of the church in second year. So i had a mini spaz out when i saw all the tombs. So off i went paid my money and in i went. I was in a massively old crypt and Marie Antoinette and King Louis tombs soooo incredible.
And then we went to let me settle a bit and then we met the France trip people for dinner. We ate at this great little Thia place and then we all broke off again i said goodbye to two guys for good and then i got a little internet cafe in before we left to go back to Yelba's apartment for the night.
DAY 2
Liz finally got to the louvre YAY!! We went nice and early and we did a lot of the greek and roman crap...i mean rooms first. Did the Mona Lisa (which like everyone says is small and lame) and I got to see Wings of Victory and Napoleons coronation which i find more interesting. AND i hate people....if i get pushed out of the way by one more Asian tourist i may squash them. It was a little intense in parts, but then we went had a Louvre break had lunch in a nice little Japanese place and then back we went to do the medieval stuff and the 16/17th century stuff was basically empty so that was perfect!!!
And then I met up with Jane from the France tour and YElba went to work and the two of us walked up the Champs and went into the giant Adidas store where a french football player was being interviewd then to Sephora and we even went in and got in trouble in Louis Vuton....we took pictures...they didnt like that....but a freaking suitcase cost 11,000Euros.....
Then we went to the ARch and Jane paid to cilmb it and i stayed at the bottom cause im not really into climbing things these days.
Then we managed to get in the middle of a war ceremony and ran away due to the ridiculousness of the past two weeks and the need to remove ourselves from military things!!!
Then we went to the Bastille district for lunch.....where Jane bought shoes cuase her sandles were hurting and then..shameful i know...we ate Subway....with no subsauce!!
And then we (giant blank i have no idea what we did)
Then we went to the Seine and took one of those night time boat cruises...where a old gross man made out with his...mistress the entire time and we made a bad choice and sat practically over the motor and basically just bumed around the back of the boat but i got great pictures....soon to come!
Goodness then i said goodbye to Jane and met with YElba and we went home and slept
Got up at 6 and off i went to the train station(thankgoodness 5 min from her house) got on my little train the EuroSTar and promptly fell asleep missing the entire under theEnglish Channel experience. But thats alright it was dark from what i remember!!
Then i got to Kings Cross in London and got myself a bloody expensive ticket up to Edinburgh! Got on that train and spent the afternoon either sleeping or looking out the window as the train took the EAST COAST route along the ocean with the cliffs and everything it was amazing!!!
And then Jess met me at the train station i was an hour late thanks to me missing the first train trying to find Kings Cross station(which was across the street from the Eurostar station)
So thats the scoop up until Tuesday at 2!!!

While I am sad, for me, that the France stories have come to an end (for now), I am happy, for you, that you have made it to Scotland!!!
Looking forward to hearing all about your Scottish way of life. :)
