Okay Ive arrived at Aze and it took us about 12 hours the first train from Foix to Toulouse toook 1 hour ish and then we had a three hour layover in Toulouse(we sat in a cafe and had lunch and then we went on a little walk.) Then we had a 4 hour train ride to Lyon where i got my first look at the Med. Sea from the train which was exciting and then we kinda saw Alp-like mountains im not sure if they actually were. And then an hour lay over in Lyon and we had dinner and then a 45 min train ride to Monoc ville and the Chateau Aze. And now im thinking about setting up my room because i get my own this time woot woot!!! It has three beds in it, the property is massive the actual Chateau is where we have english class and the dorms and there is a seperate building for Congress and another seperate building for the counselors *(one side has ensuit bathrooms ours doesnt :() and the hard rock cafe(dining hall) is also in that building. Basically this means there is a crap load more space which is fantastic, well im going to hunt for my camera cord so i can upload pictures,i had to pack all my bags again today so its somewhere..currently there are also about 100 tylonels floating around in my back pack becyase the top came off the bottle so lots to do before bed!!1 Including finding bed sheets!
Gooood night!

Hollywood....thats so hollywood
Well according to mike i need to update more which might be hard considering all my spare time goes into lesson plans and classroom prep but i promise i will try, i didnt think that you would want a day by day,....its going to get repetative. Today we did a Hollywood theme which was excellent we did skits, i was an actor who couldnt act properly took the wrong directions from the director etc....played a ga;e in class...we all acted out emotions!!! Really fun day, long though we let the kids do their own skits and there are almost 3 hours of prep on the time thats supposed to be my time off so the day is super long and then we perform and the counselors do interludes to make sure the kids have enough time to change so those were fun, and then after we have a dance which they call a BOOM in France and can i tell you it was the most fun ive had in a while dancing lol!!! Our kids absolutly lovd it they went nuts, some songs were french some were English some Canadian wooot!!! And it was supposed to end at 10:30 and it went til 12 because they were having an amazing time and now its english prep, tomorrow we do graduation caps in class and review as it is their last day!!! One of our counselors is leaving tomorrow before the kids do and so they all said goodnight to her tonight...and well they cried it was adorable...but apparently groups of kids like this are so rare that it probably wont happen again hahaa....they were really amazing!!!
The Boom was great and i get to do it all again next week wooot, but at Awe in q chateau which i have seen pictures of and crap its a history students dream i tell you....i; not looking forzqrd to the 10 hour train ride but at least 2 other girls are coming with me!!
Tomorrow we get to sleep in hence why im up so late postsing, it is 1:30 now but my roommate has a manual alarm that makes a ticking noise annnd it pretty much kept me up all last night because i wasnt tired enough so im making myself tired hahaa, plus i have to make a copy of everyting i taught to give to the camp annnnd i didnt know that before so im putting things together now!!
Yesterday was wild west day and that was great too, i had my cowboy hat I taught the cheer with another counsellor at Congress( the kids all meet in congress after english and we go over shedule of the day and do a skit based on the theme and a cheer and a popular song..wild west day was Boulavard of Broken Dreams, Discovery America day was California and today was We are the champions) and our evening activity was a carnival which was great we all had a station i did water ping pong.....PS my camp name is Aqua...i love water, i miss the pool...kinda....so aqua fit....you shoudl hear how the kids say it though with the french accents!
Its funny they all get american names....one is justin timberlake....and in the summer they come and pick...the kids now pick them at the begining of the school year and are called that name in english all yyear....so in the summer we could have pickle...or something totaly random Tom Cruse or wathever its hysterical.
On discover America day we had a campfire and made smores...which was great except coming from a family and a country where campfire is pretty standard its actually hard to get them to understand the whole thing. The smore making was dangerous lol we had to actually teach them how to make them.....and so many caught fire and instead of blowing.....they would fling them around, they had no concept of the stick size and the would just walk around flayling it around. And then we sang camp songs and heard a story and it was extremely bizarr for me to be having a camp fire in the mountains with snow....random...and i was the stick allocator....if i didnt have glasses i would be blind now....
Best thing so far is the language and how the kids say words, the most important thing that they get wrong is; in a and not pronouncing the s at the end of words, so they basically dont pluralize anything. They come out with some pretty great interpretations of words let me tell you....they say Ear,...like Air they say Aqua like AqWAHHHHH, but they are fantastic!!
Okay mike i hope this is long enough, thank you everyone for your comments im sorry if i dont mail you back individually its hard to get on the computer when im not falling asleep and typing hurts my brain...i either have to put it on french and look at the keyboard all the time or put it to english and not look at all....thats why there are massive spelling mistakes....GRAG

Hello!!
Well its day two of camp, day one was a bit stressful not really knowing what to do and how to go about doing things but you catch on really quickly so i think that im doing alright now!!
Today was day two and the first day of ESL, i am teaching ESL this week to the Advanced speakers [there are four levels} So i make a lesson plan for 2 hours revolving around a theme for the day so today was discovering America and tomorrow is Wild West Day which should be entertaining!! Its a lot of fun but a little draining but its definitly a cool experience and great teaching experience!!! The kids are from a school two hours away and they are mostly 12 years old, they are actually really good kids wanting to learn speaking English when they can!!
This site is not open next week so im waiting to hear where i go or if i have a week off[which i doubt] so i will keep you all posted!!!
It is super late and i am super tired so i am going to bed!!!!

Hey everybody,
It is Sunday night here now and my watch has magically changed itself into a 24 hour clock …which means I have to either figure out how to change it back or learn how to tell time on a 24 hour system…..can i just say that im sorry if their are massive spelling issues…the keyboard is completely different , and im using a French version of word so it just shows everything as a spelling error. Also the only sleep ive had since Friday night has been a 30 min accidental nap and a few doze offs on the bus (which was supposed to be a train)
So here is the deal so far, Mum dropped me off at the airport and had a drink with me so I didn’t wait too long to bored Which is nice. I ended up beside an older man and I ended up talking with him because my head set was broken, the stewardess was supposed to reset it but she forgot and even then there was only one real volume REALLLY LOUD apparently the volume button was broken so the only way to listen to it without going deaf was to hold the down volume until you could hardly hear it, lift your finger off slightly and then wait until it got too loud to handle and turn it back down. So even though I was really excited to watch night at the museum I could handle two hours of volume up volume down. I ended up talking to the man beside me the entire trip…= no sleep he was Swedish and kinda funny so it wasn’t so bad (plus my favourite part of the flight was definitely the fact that you had to go down a set of stairs to go to q row of bathrooms….awesome
So at Frankfurt I landed on time YEAH!! however I had to go through customs and another security check…but the stupid police man kept closing all the international lines that I was in and then this massive African family budded me in line and it turned out they were in the wrong line anyway….I just made it to my connection and I got two seats to myself giving me lots of room and a window seat as we flew over the Alps!!!! I have pictures don’t worry……Then we landed and I definitely could have made the shuttle to catch the 10:30 train but they took almost 40 min taking my luggage off the plane…however it actually made it this time so I cant complain too much.
So I waited for the 4€ shuttle to the train station, I ended up talking to two older men…and I mean almost 80 and they were there to walk some trails and basically hike in the mountains, Toulouse Is gorgeous If it wasn’t so far away I could probably manage a day trip…however the rest of my day proves it is too far…basically my next task was to buy the ticket...easy Allie you were right they spoke English but I had to wait almost 2 hours for that train and even then i would have to switch at some point!! So I hung out at the station and did nothing and then i took a train to some random station and everyone got off so i did too,....and then they all got on a bus and i was confused...so i got on the bus too and thank god i did it went right to Foix,,,,but it was definitly supposed to be a train but there was issues with the tracks...anyway i got to foix but the bus driver managed to hit a bus and almost crush 3 cars in a parking lot so good times!!
And then Aaron picked me up in Foix and basically Fopix is in a valley between two large mountain ridges and it was a 41 min drive to the site,....which is up and up and up and we're in a skii lodge literally half way up the mountain, when im less jet lagged(ive been up for something like 36 hours now) I will post pictures!!! The site isnt a chataux but its really nice and i share a room with anotehr counselor,. We have a school coming in for next week so we're tyrying to get everything organizedm there are 4 canadians here, one American 2 french and i think thats it!!! 8 of us total so my counting is abit off...whatever....anyway action starts tomorrow!!!
So far so good!!!
Talk to you all soon
