Hey everybody,
It is Sunday night here now and my watch has magically changed itself into a 24 hour clock …which means I have to either figure out how to change it back or learn how to tell time on a 24 hour system…..can i just say that im sorry if their are massive spelling issues…the keyboard is completely different , and im using a French version of word so it just shows everything as a spelling error. Also the only sleep ive had since Friday night has been a 30 min accidental nap and a few doze offs on the bus (which was supposed to be a train)

So here is the deal so far, Mum dropped me off at the airport and had a drink with me so I didn’t wait too long to bored Which is nice. I ended up beside an older man and I ended up talking with him because my head set was broken, the stewardess was supposed to reset it but she forgot and even then there was only one real volume REALLLY LOUD apparently the volume button was broken so the only way to listen to it without going deaf was to hold the down volume until you could hardly hear it, lift your finger off slightly and then wait until it got too loud to handle and turn it back down. So even though I was really excited to watch night at the museum I could handle two hours of volume up volume down. I ended up talking to the man beside me the entire trip…= no sleep he was Swedish and kinda funny so it wasn’t so bad (plus my favourite part of the flight was definitely the fact that you had to go down a set of stairs to go to q row of bathrooms….awesome
So at Frankfurt I landed on time YEAH!! however I had to go through customs and another security check…but the stupid police man kept closing all the international lines that I was in and then this massive African family budded me in line and it turned out they were in the wrong line anyway….I just made it to my connection and I got two seats to myself giving me lots of room and a window seat as we flew over the Alps!!!! I have pictures don’t worry……Then we landed and I definitely could have made the shuttle to catch the 10:30 train but they took almost 40 min taking my luggage off the plane…however it actually made it this time so I cant complain too much.

So I waited for the 4€ shuttle to the train station, I ended up talking to two older men…and I mean almost 80 and they were there to walk some trails and basically hike in the mountains, Toulouse Is gorgeous If it wasn’t so far away I could probably manage a day trip…however the rest of my day proves it is too far…basically my next task was to buy the ticket...easy Allie you were right they spoke English but I had to wait almost 2 hours for that train and even then i would have to switch at some point!! So I hung out at the station and did nothing and then i took a train to some random station and everyone got off so i did too,....and then they all got on a bus and i was confused...so i got on the bus too and thank god i did it went right to Foix,,,,but it was definitly supposed to be a train but there was issues with the tracks...anyway i got to foix but the bus driver managed to hit a bus and almost crush 3 cars in a parking lot so good times!!
And then Aaron picked me up in Foix and basically Fopix is in a valley between two large mountain ridges and it was a 41 min drive to the site,....which is up and up and up and we're in a skii lodge literally half way up the mountain, when im less jet lagged(ive been up for something like 36 hours now) I will post pictures!!! The site isnt a chataux but its really nice and i share a room with anotehr counselor,. We have a school coming in for next week so we're tyrying to get everything organizedm there are 4 canadians here, one American 2 french and i think thats it!!! 8 of us total so my counting is abit off...whatever....anyway action starts tomorrow!!!
So far so good!!!

Talk to you all soon

So exciting! I'm glad to hear your luggage didn't get stuck in Frankfurt this time and that despite the bus confusion, the French transport system didn't fail you. Were you on a new Airbus plane?
Ok too much for a blog comment. Can't wait to see pictures and hear about all the adventures ahead!
