Weekend #2 Disco nights
Hello everyone!!! well its the weekend and that means time off, so yesterday when the campers from hell left we decided to walk into town,...in costume of course, to buy some wine.....im in Burgandy which means im smack in the middle of wine country and holy crap is the wine amazing, we bought some wine and had a tea in the little town of Aze which is a ten min walk from the camp site and it is so great im going back in a little bit to take pictures and buy some allergy medicine so i can actually breathe....you know thats important!!! There are a few war memorials in town and a nice old gothic church so i want to take a look and Rachel one of the other girls, who is from South Carloina is going to come with me...basially her plan is to have me arrange cultural outings and then she'll tag along lol works for me.
Our site director Mael showed me where the pool is in Macon so i might go for a swim next weekend we'll see!
Lets see what else, last night we drove into Macon...in the trunk of Mael's car and went to an Indian restaurant for dinner...so good, and then we went to a bar for some dancing and beer...there is beer that they make here called Demi peache....which is beer with peach flavouring...so amazing!!! anyway so we danced and looked at boys all of which turned out to be Gay so that was fun haha but it was great there was a live DJ and he was playing ridiculous mixes in the middlle he played Grease which was fabulous, Erin i thought of you...and my crazy grade 10 presentation in drama hahaha, infact i remembered the moves and taught them to the girls.....everyone thought we were a little crazy because we knew all the english songs and frankly the french may know the words but they definitly dont sing it right hahaha!
Im uploading pictures as we speak but its so slow that ill have to finish later on because im going to walk into Aze while the sun is out!!
There is going to be a wedding tonight on the grounds, they have a reception hall that they rent out so we have to make sure they dont go into our buildings but the plan is to try and get invited to the wedding....last year apparently people crashed a wedding and they got in serious shit from the bride soooo we have to be invited!!!
Thats all for now!!

Frogs and Bread untensils
Okay so im learning here i really am.....
#1. Always check backstage because their might be a massive frog/toad waiting there to hop at you
#2 Large sticks are useful as prodding iteams to remove large frog/toads from backstage...as long as their are two of you and you speak encouraging words to the frog as you hop him out the door
#3 There is no need for Knives in France a simple bit of bread will do. Bread can be used to sop up any left overs, or to shovel food on to your fork, or as Johnathan showed me this evening...to spread cheese onto yet another bit of bread
#4 Singing makes campers uncomfortable...ive decided that when i get bored ill sing, it makes for some interesting looks and giggles but sometimes if im lucky they sing along too!!(Erin and Allie think Florida)
#5 The bigger the Balloon boobs the better/funnier
#6 Our director is crazy...tomorrow he will be constructing a shelter for our Fireplace and skit stage...normally the skits are done inside...and well campfire in the open however it has rained every night this week so his plan is to put up a shelter and come hell or high water we are having a campfire....SO
#7 tomorrow i will learn how flame resistant our shelter is....stay tuned!
