Spectacle.....failure

Okay are you ready for a great story....
we begin with crap weather rain off and on hard and all that all day, then add a crazy director and his outdoor hollywood spectacle stage add a poorly designed "shelter" and poof you get this evening.
So he insisted that we have the evening program outside but of course because the kids came late on monday we had to do the campfire as well, so its pouring we have 7 groups of 7 kids one group performs and then another gets ready while yet another roasts marshmellows...sounds easy....these kids are 10-12 for them roasting marshmellows is rocket science. I had to teach the teacher even how to not set the crappy french marshmellows on fire.

Then its pouring during our safety sketch...me the narrator...my script washes off the page and so the actors just winged it for a bit....thhhen we started and all was going well, with interval water removal from the tarp roof of the shelter by one of the teachers and Mr Caffine....then...he decided to remove some water on to a counselor...she was not so impressed...he thought it was hysterical....
Then...mid sketch...i feel like the shelter is getting smaller...yes in fact pop...off goes the crappy stick holding up the two broken bits of wood holding the tarp up and the tiny kids were only saved by the fact that sitting down i am in fact the tallest person in the shelter.

So that was fun.....

Then we have to walk back for the Boom....yes three things in one night...

So Boom starts....from dinner time on i had a really odd vibe about this boom and i kept telling Rabbit...and then i realized why....One boy...Arsenio....yes we changed his name to Arsenio...he decided that i was who he wanted to dance with for the slow song...okay no problem...but then he decided that he should sing the song that he doesnt know the words to to "serenade me"....which got lots of pointing and laughing from the ever helpful teachers.....then the next slow song came on and i guess the teacher had given him dancing advice because he wanted to dance "properly" then seeing two counselors waltzing...he decided to lead me in a waltz literally around the room....all the while going VON TWOOO TREE VON TWOO TREE,,,,i was in hysterics and the teachers were losing it.... so that was interesting...then he wouldnt leave me alone...so the next set of slow songs come on all i hear is AQUA AQUA...so again we danced...no waltz....then the next song was a slow song and the teacher actually said "maybe you should dance with someone else" i thanked the nice man and ran away to bother this kid at my table who stares at me all through dinner to get a reaction out of me

This kids name is Leaf...yes we changed his name to Leaf,,,he sits beside me at the table and can i tell you his english is so bad, he cant remember words and he has a really strange accent....but he's starting to make sentences...for example today he said
You must I love you me(a personal favorite)
And then the roaring randition of SEXY BACK anananananananana SEXY BACK nanananananana SEXY BACK
He has also decided that my hair is too long and i need to cut it to about shoulder length so when ever i see him he says QUICK QUICK which is supposed to be CUT CUT but as I said before...english is not his strong point...any other time he just goes WHAHAHAAHHAAHHA

Anyway i thought this evening was too good not to share!!!

Hey everyone, alright so best thing ever... for those of you who have seen pink panther you will understand if you havbent im sorry but you should read it anyway,,,there is a scene where Steve Martin is trying to learn english and the women asks him to say Hamburger and he just cannot do it, like atttt alll...anyway we always have hamburgers on mondays and all i hear all night is MAY I HAVE A AMBAHGAR and it takes all my strength not to laugh at their crazy accent!!!


So capture the flag was today...i ran oh yes im doing all sorts of things i hate, but im loving it, and tonight is Trivial Pursuit im a little bored of that game but you know i have little choice in the evening programs we run

Allison....i had something hysterical to tell youand ive totally forgotten what it was....but it was good

I have yet to christen my box of Aze wine, and for all of you who were wishig i would bring you wine home...guess what...no liquids in carry ons,...i totaly forgot sooo no one gets wine which sucks cause it was going to be a few presents, its amazing local wine but sadly no wine for you! Instead im going to get you something tacky from Paris sound good?

POCKET LIKE ITS HOT

Alrighty week four, Ive been here for a monthm zell almost a month!!!

This weekend was great Friday a few of us went out to the bar in Macon to celebrate Phoebe's birthday it was great i learned every swear word in french from these guys we met and we stayed until the bar closed and continued to swear loudly all the way back to the car where we found our boss passed out in the car....so we took a few pictures which i will get from Phoebe soon and post them for you.

Saturday we slept in and took TJ and Boston to the train station and then Rabbit to the doctor and then rabbit Pheobe and i went for some shopping birthday trip annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd i had a Kebab!!! YEs and it was the best food ive had in a long time....camp food blows hard....anyway we had a coke fries and a kebab and it blew my mind i havent had coke since i left canada....i didnt even have any on the plane!

So sunday we worked and got everyrthing ready for this week, im doing general store this week which means calculations and crap so i gotta be on my game, the kids gave me money todayand then tomorrow and the rest of the week they get to buy things from the store like candy or american villaage tshirts and all that. or post cards,,,

So the kids arrived late today so we had more time but its raining like the flood is coming so we had to do immigration inside which is not so great, annnnnd we are gangsters this week, so my family is P.diddy and the otheres are lil kim, snoop, Xzibit and Missy elliot....soooo today i was a pimp in intros and we rapped the fresh prince song....oh yes we are so very white i hope pictures will come soon :D

Apparently these kids are from Paris which accounts for the diversity and the amount of vegitarian 12 year olds, and apparently this means they are going to be little shits and wont listen...according to our Brittany bias boss And already the teachers didnt like my bedroom plan becauyse we never recieved their opinions so i made my own,,,,,they didnt like that at all hahahaha

So thats the end for today off to kitchen duty i go my kids gotta set up....POCKET LIKE ITS HOOTTTT
