Well it is officially 17 days before I leave for France!!!
This is where I hope to keep everyone up to date with my summer until I get back at the beginning of August to be lazy at the cottage!!
For those who don't know I'm going to be leaving the Town and lifeguarding after 6 years and I'm heading out to the South of France to be a camp counsellor for an English Immersion camp called American Villages. Follow the link below and test you're French!! There is one link in English if you get frustrated!!
http://collegiens.nacel.fr/fr/amv/index.php
The purpose of the camp is to immerse the campers in North American culture and hopefully improve their English in a fun environment. The camp has 10 sites across France and I was placed south of Toulouse just outside a little mountain village called Foix(as far as i can tell it is pronounced Fwa). The camp is at a little building at the base of a ski resort and there are apparently great hiking trails and mountain lakes within walking distance from my site. As well there are some great old houses that were used by Cathars...which is awesome for me because I think i learned about the Cathars in every class i took this year!! I am very close to the Spanish boarder and Andorra....a small skiing country between France and Spain. And as far as I can tell about an hour and a half from the Mediterranean....although it could be longer if their are mountains in the way!! Either way cooooool!!! I may be moved when the summer session starts in June but that is where I will be until the 22nd of June at any rate!!!
Anyway Ill try to post on here as much as possible throughout the summer but as i said earlier I will be back at the beginning of August which gives me about a month to talk every one's ears off before I get back to school!!!Lucky you guys huh!
Well frankly I'm procrastinating so I have to keep reminding myself that I still have 5 exams to write before I leave!!!
Anyway the point of this blog is to update you guys and for you guys to update me too!! I don't know how often I will get to use the Internet(there is access at all the sites) so please feel free to leave me notes about how much you miss me and such...haha...

First grammar note: you're = you are, your = possessive. (It should say "test YOUR French"). You're welcome.
